Privacy Policy
This policy explains what SA Plastering North West does with personal information you provide through this website. It is written to be clear rather than legalistic, and should be reviewed by the business owner before publication.
Who we are
SA Plastering North West is a plastering business operating in Manchester and the North West of England. For data protection purposes we are the data controller for information you send us. You can reach us on 07487 735318.
Placeholder: add the registered trading name, business address and a confirmed contact email address before publishing.
What we collect
If you use the quote form on this website, you choose what to include — typically your name, a contact number or email address, the town the work is in, and a description of the job.
Importantly, this website has no database and no server-side form handling. The quote form simply prepares a message in your own email app or WhatsApp. Nothing is submitted or stored by the website itself; the information only reaches us once you press send in your own app.
Why we use it
Solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, arrange work and keep records of jobs we have carried out. The lawful bases we rely on are legitimate interests (responding to an enquiry you initiated) and, where work is agreed, performance of a contract.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it for marketing lists.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted once they are clearly no longer relevant. Records relating to completed work are kept for as long as needed for accounting, warranty and legal purposes.
Who we share it with
Communications you send reach us through your own phone network, email provider or WhatsApp (Meta), each of which processes the message in transit under its own privacy terms. We do not otherwise pass your details to third parties except where required by law.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies. A single small entry is stored in your browser to remember your cookie choice so the banner does not reappear. See the cookie policy for detail.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact us on 07487 735318 and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
We may update this policy as the business changes. The current version always appears on this page.
